Lee holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of York, UK and a PhD in Bio-Organic Chemistry from Radboud University Nijmegen, NL.
After completing his PhD, he co-founded Encapson, a company specialising in microencapsulation combined with coatings for medical devices, where he served as CTO until its acquisition by LipoCoat in 2024.
That same year, Lee joined Avivia, a company focused on formulation development. Following Avivia’s acquisition by the Ofichem Group in 2025, Lee became Business Unit Director, responsible for Non-GMP Drug Product Development.
