Dr. Weite Oldenziel is the Chief Executive Officer and owner of the Ofichem Group. From an educational background being a registered Pharmacist and having a PhD in neurochemistry, he assumed leadership in 2006, guiding the company through a critical phase of modernisation.
He has since then expanded the business into multiple specialised units, encompassing R&D of both drug substance and drug product, commercial API manufacturing, API sourcing, and commercial drug product manufacturing, while implementing stringent GMP standards across the organisation.
His leadership is characterised by strategic foresight, a focus on quality and sustainability, and a renewed commitment to domestic industry resilience battling medicine shortages.
