Job Description
As a Formulation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing formulations and (tablet) processes for final products. Additionally, you will contribute to the successful completion of Technology Transfers. You play a crucial role in improving processes and developing innovative products.
Key responsibilities
- Develop formulations and set up processes for new final products.
- Coordinate formulation activities and technical feasibility studies within Technology Transfers, ensuring plans and timelines are met.
- Collaborate with other departments and external researchers to develop formulations for clinical studies.
- Evaluate and standardize formulation experiments on a laboratory scale.
- Support the operational execution of technical batches.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports and present data for regulatory dossiers.
- Align customer requirements with internal capabilities.
- Contribute to the optimization of existing commercial-scale production processes.
- Manage development equipment and select new raw materials.
What we ask of you
- Minimum HBO (bachelor’s degree) level in pharmacy, chemistry, or (process) technology.
- Knowledge of complex analyses.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Affinity with scientific research.
