Job Description
As a Formulation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing formulations and (tablet) processes for final products. Additionally, you will contribute to the successful completion of Technology Transfers. You play a crucial role in improving processes and developing innovative products.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop formulations and set up processes for new final products.
  • Coordinate formulation activities and technical feasibility studies within Technology Transfers, ensuring plans and timelines are met.
  • Collaborate with other departments and external researchers to develop formulations for clinical studies.
  • Evaluate and standardize formulation experiments on a laboratory scale.
  • Support the operational execution of technical batches.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports and present data for regulatory dossiers.
  • Align customer requirements with internal capabilities.
  • Contribute to the optimization of existing commercial-scale production processes.
  • Manage development equipment and select new raw materials.

What we ask of you

  • Minimum HBO (bachelor’s degree) level in pharmacy, chemistry, or (process) technology.
  • Knowledge of complex analyses.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Affinity with scientific research.
