What does your role look like?
Together with the team, you oversee the development of the analytical methods for the API’s we develop at our development & manufacturing department. You will guide both the analytical team and the internal organization from an analytical perspective to ensure we get the best results within a specific time frame. You set priorities and act as a point of contact for both internal teams and external clients. You interpret research results and translate them into follow-up actions. With your expertise in analytical techniques, you enable the progress of complex projects and actively contribute to the growth of the department.
Your key responsibilities and tasks as Project Leader include:
- To be the company expert in analytical method development and guide the analytical team and internal organization.
- To interpret analytical reports and research results, initiate follow-up actions, and take responsibility for the progress of the projects.
- To coordinate activities, set priorities, and ensuring internal alignment within the D&M analytical department.
- To act as the point of contact for the analytical aspects of projects within the D&M department and towards external clients. Translating customer needs into internal priorities is crucial.
- Hands-on development, improvement, and validation of new analytical methods.
What we ask of you:
- A university-level degree in Chemistry, MSc or preferably a PhD, with a specialization in analytical chemistry.
- Working experience with various analytical techniques (development and validation), such as HPLC, GC, LC-MS, and PSD.
- A commercial mindset combined with strong analytical and communicative skills.
- A team player who takes pride in coaching and guiding the analytical team.
- The ability to deliver under time pressure and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, with the ambition to keep customers satisfied.
- Accuracy and a solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to always maintain an overview.
