Job Description
As a Technical Service Employee, you will be the all-round professional ensuring that all our business processes run smoothly. At Ofichem’s laboratory, your technical knowledge is essential to guarantee the production of pharmaceutical ingredients. You will work within the Technical Service (TS) department, forming a strong team with one colleague responsible for the maintenance and management of our technical installations. In this diverse role, you will have the opportunity to perform a wide range of technical tasks and further develop your skills.
You are a doer, proactive, and committed. You see every task as a challenge and enjoy thinking creatively and finding practical solutions to ensure that the company is not only assisted in resolving problems but also taken to a higher level.
Your tasks and responsibilities as a Technical Service Employee include:
- Performing periodic and corrective maintenance on buildings;
- Maintaining installations and equipment, including maintenance contracts;
- Identifying and solving various technical faults;
- Designing and manufacturing technical components/accessories for different departments;
- Ensuring external parties comply with GMP and ATEX guidelines through work permits;
- Planning and performing periodic maintenance via a digital maintenance system;
- Ensuring an orderly workplace, including the boiler room, technical storage, and workshop, for both internal and external parties;
- Working according to the TS safety manual, work permits, and GMP guidelines;
- Managing internal and external communication of TS-related projects and coordinating outsourced technical matters with external parties;
- Documenting maintenance activities in the (preventive) maintenance system.
What we ask of you:
- A completed MBO education in a technical field (e.g., installation or electrical engineering);
- At least 5 years of experience as an (all-round) technical service employee;
- Some experience in a GMP environment is a plus;
- Enjoy working in a small team, with an interest in learning, problem-solving, and a hands-on mentality;
- Ability to prioritize tasks and take on varied responsibilities.
